Did you ever here of Penguin Chat? Penguin Chat was the game that turned into today’s Club Penguin. It was made four years before Club Penguin’s beta testing, in 2001. It was owned by Rocketsnail Games (Rsnail on club penguin today). There was a couple of versions of this game. The link I am about to give you is a remake. You cannot go to any of the rooms. You can play it at http://penguinchat.com/. Some of you may not be able to play it because of your flash player. You don’t even need to make an account! Just put in a random name and your set to go! It was just made to chat!
Penguin Chat had rooms we see in club penguin today such as the town and every room in it. The boiler room looked different and your igloo was just a ball of white and a penguin band playing on a stage. Penguin Chat wasn’t the first link to club penguin. The first start to the game was called “Experimental Penguins”. Very little is known about this game. It came out in 2000 and only lasted a few months. It won a couple awards while it was out.
